A weekend

Mr Moo finished his antibiotics, he's eating so good, better than before surgery and he thinks the cone is a wonderful way of getting us to go where he wants to do. He has worked out that he can scoop things with the cone out of his way, or in our case, 'scoop' us to where he wants to go. Kitchen, Outside, Off the bed etc.

Boy and Bear were awesome.

Really really awesome. The support bands were brilliant. Best Friend and I felt really old at first and a little uncool as we were surrounded in (annoying) 18 year old hipsters. Turns out, you can look as cool as you like but you are still 18, you still can't hold a rum and coke and you are really annoying even if you are wearing a 1990's inspired outfit.

We had a great night, even if we had some old creepers try and get into our car at the petrol station and we had to find some very nice police officers to save us.

I'm so glad that before our huge debt we got our tickets for Soundwave and Seether. I love music and I love going to gigs with Best Friend. Even if we are the uncoolest people there, we rock out and have a brilliant time.

Moo went all day without any pain relief which is good, he didn't need them. His personality is coming back and he's been begging us to play. Sad for him that he isn't allowed until the weekend.

Because the Mooinator can't get up on furniture and we are the bad kind of owners and allow our dog to go on every bit of furniture he damn well pleases (dining chairs included) we've had to move downstairs to stop Moo from climbing stairs or getting on the furniture. It's not been as bad as we thought, my office is really big so we've got our mattress on the floor much to our backs protest.

Our house doesn't have air conditioning upstairs which is stupid for a house in Queensland so it's an oven upstairs already and it isn't even summer yet. Downstairs is lovely and cool and has air con so we've been very comfortable.

We've also spent a great deal just hanging out together.

I feel like such a failure at MooZoo at the moment.
With Moo being sick and me being pre-ocupied and now we are having massive issues with our internet provider (read: we have no internet at the moment) i'm having to tether my iphone to the computer to do everything. It's painful even sending a tweet let alone working. I've had to do all the design work offline (which is no biggy really) but it means that installation and emails and ebooks and other design works can't be done or sent or set up etc.
*sigh*

Next week will be better.
